Honor Distinguished Grads
Glenville State College student Jamie Hickman (left) and her mom Neva Bailey (right) enjoy a bite to eat during a reception to honor this year's 28 GSC distinguished graduates. The event was hosted by President, Dr. Peter Barr, and his wife Betsy, and took place on Tuesday evening at the President's house. Faculty and staff also attended to celebrate with GSC's Class of 2007 outstanding students who earned 3.5 grade point averages or higher. They will graduate with Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude academic honor distinctions on Saturday during the commencement ceremony at 10:00 a.m. in the Physical Education Building Lily's Gymnasium. Hickman, from Glenville, completed her B.A. degree requirements in December and majored in English. She will participate in the ceremony along with the other graduates who also completed their degree requirements in December as well as last July and this month.
