Glenville, WV - The annual Pioneer Athletic Club Pigskin Roast is scheduled for Homecoming Weekend at Glenville State College. The roast which benefits the Pioneer Athletic Club will be held on Friday, October 12, at 6:00pm, at I.L. and Sue Morris Stadium on Mineral Road in Glenville.

Tickets are just $10.00 for singles, $15.00 for couples and only $5.00 for children 12 and under. The Pigskin Roast is open to the public, and all GSC Alumni, families, friends and fans are invited.

Proceeds from the annual event which is part of Homecoming Week at Glenville State College go to the Pioneer Athletic Club. GSC Interim Athletic Director Dennis Fitzpatrick said, “The money raised throughout the year by the Pioneer Athletic Club goes toward scholarships for GSC athletes in all sports”.

Tickets for the Pigskin Roast are now available by calling 462-4102. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate the evening of the event.
