Glenville, WV – Last semester, students at Glenville State College expressed an interest in having a space designed specifically for non-traditional students to spend their free time between or after classes. That idea for such a space has been turned into a new lounge.

The college relocated its Academic Center last semester to a different site on campus which resulted in an unoccupied area for this lounge. Work progressed during the last few weeks to spruce up and renovate the vacant space.

The lounge is now open to all non-traditional students at GSC. In the lounge, the students will find sofas and other seating, a large flat screen TV, a separate study area, storage lockers, and a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, single serve pod-style coffee maker, and toaster.

The Non-Traditional Student Lounge is located on the first floor of Louis Bennett Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
