easier for future teachers to obtain the higher education they want and need. The program allows students to attend NRCTC’s Nicholas County campus to complete course requirements for an education degree from Glenville State College.

GSC President Dr. Peter Barr said, “This partnership is a win-win-win situation for Glenville State College, New River, and the students who will benefit by having the classes they need close to home.”

NRCTC President Dr. Ted Spring said, “This articulation agreement is a wonderful example of two colleges working together to help education majors complete their degrees without leaving home.”

Glenville State College’s relationship with New River Community and Technical College doesn’t stop there. GSC plans to offer some other classes at NRCTC in the spring of 2008 including a Boundary Law class at the Beckley campus.
