The Annual GSC Music Audition Day is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15th. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. around the Glenville State College campus. "Music Audition Day is very unique in that we are one of very few music departments that perform for those auditioning. We perform a ‘Showcase’ style concert in which there are performances by our major ensembles: Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Bluegrass Band, and Concert Band. This is a great service that we give to our visitors that I think wonderfully exhibits the attention they will receive as a music student at GSC," said GSC Fine Arts Department Chair Lloyd Bone.

The schedule for the day includes a campus tour, presentations from the Fine Arts Department Chair and Financial Aid, and several music and voice professors. Participants will be treated to ‘A Taste of Music at Glenville State’ which will feature many of GSC’s bands and ensembles. Students will also have the opportunity to audition and learn more about financial aid and campus life.
