GSC Hosting Fall Fair with Graduate Schools, Post-Grad Opportunities

GLENVILLE, WV - On Wednesday, September 24th Glenville State College Career Services staff members will be holding a 'Fall Fair' in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Approximately 30 exhibitors will be in attendance, ranging from graduate schools, international volunteer and study abroad programs, federal government internships, and opportunities for veterans.

This event, the first of its kind at GSC, is intended to promote awareness of professional experiences and opportunities available through graduate schools.

“This is the first year that GSC is hosting a Fall Fair, and we are very honored that so many programs will be in attendance on the 24th. I have every confidence that this will prove to be an advantageous experience for all attendees,” said GSC Career Services Counselor Joanna DiStefano. She encourages those who plan to attend the fair to be dressed for success, bring a copy of their resume and cover letter, and to be friendly and open for conversation.

The GSC Career Services office wants to stress that this is not an employment fair, but rather a chance for current students, alumni, and members of the greater Glenville community to learn about options for deepening their professional skillset.
