The Glenville State College Athletic Department will be hosting the First Annual Athletic Sports Fest on Saturday, August 2nd at I.L. Morris Stadium in Glenville. Tickets are on sale now.

Tickets for the event are $100 each and include a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes, food and beverages, and musical entertainment. The list of available prizes includes: two Ford F-150 pick up trucks, a Ford Mustang, two Honda 4-Wheelers, two Remington 11-87 Shotguns, two Remington 700 BDL Rifles, and twenty-eight cash prizes ranging from $500 to $10,000. All prizes will be drawn for regardless of the number of tickets sold. Winners may select a cash option in place of any prize. You do not have to be present to win.

Ticket holders will be treated to a Pork and Beef BBQ, ice cream, Zul’s frozen lemonade, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and lots more. One guest may accompany each ticket holder for an additional charge of $15.

Gates will open for the Athletic Fest at 2:00 p.m. Food will be served from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the band will play from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Prize drawings will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the Athletic Fest will go toward athletic scholarships for Glenville State College student athletes in all sports. The GSC Athletic Department hopes that with the support of the community and GSC Alumni and friends, this one annual fund-raiser will cover the cost of athletic scholarships.
