GSC Concert Band to Hold Spring Concert

Spring Band ConcertGLENVILLE, WV-Members of the Glenville State College Concert Band will be performing their annual spring concert on Friday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

Works to be performed will include Cherry Blossoms March by former GSC Music Professor Charlie Miller, Hymnsong of Philip Bliss based on the classic hymn It is Well with My Soul, Joplin’s classic humorously arranged The Entertainer, Phantom of the Opera, The Light Eternal based on the classic hymn God of our Fathers, Shenandoah, an Armed Forces Salute as a tribute to veterans, and various hits from the 1960’s.

The concert is in conjunction with the Ninth Annual GSC Honor Band and is attended by a large number of high school and middle school students from around West Virginia.
