The Glenville State College 2010 Business Advisory Board members have met. The group meets regularly to assess the numerous programs within the department, learn about department news and events, and also see the outstanding group of business students recognized during a luncheon held after the meeting.
The advisory board is made up of individuals from across the state as well as from the Glenville State College campus. They are separated into distinct categories to match their background with the different programs offered through the Department of Business.
The Associate of Science advisory group consists of: GSC Executive Secretary Patricia Snyder, GSC Executive Assistant to the President/Director of Hidden Promise Scholars Program Teresa Sterns, Glenville State Farm Insurance Agent Staff Member Brandy Jenkins, Federal Correctional Institute â Gilmer Education Specialist Richard Clem, and Federal Correctional Institute-Gilmer Education Program Specialist Marsha Tompkins.
The Accounting advisory group consists of: William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Kevin Stalnaker, CPA, Toothman Rice, P.L.I.C. Member In-Charge of Small Business and Consulting Services Theodore A. Lopez, CPA, Smith Denny and Alastanos PLLC Managing Member James E. Denny, CPA, City National Bank Assistant Vice President/Regional Manager of Central Region Jeffrey Lilly, and Department of the Treasury Bureau of Public Department employee Sandra S. Bugby.
The Computer and Information Systems advisory group consists of: MicroSystems World CNC LLC Owner Kelly Davis, GSC Database Administration Manager Neal Benson, GSC Database Administration Annaliza Marks, and DuPont Company Global EP-CIO/Global DPM Operations IT employee Cynthia R. Baker, CPA.
The Management advisory group consists of: U.S. Small Business Administration West Virginia District Office Lender Relations Specialist H. Thomas White, Glenville Foodland Manager Kimberly Mace, Calhoun Bank Vice President of Business Development Bruce Fitzwater, United Bank Assistant Vice President for Commercial Loans Jeffrey Jenkins, United Bank Branch Manager Nikki Ramezan, and U.S. Small Business Administration West Virginia District Office Director Judy K. McCauley.
The Marketing advisory group consists of: B & W Production Owner Jeff Boyles, Independent Insurance Services Owner Randy Ratliff, GSC Director of Marketing and Public Relations Annette Barnette, Viking Pools Director of Marketing Stacy Nelson, and B/E Aerospace, Inc. â Fenwick Human Resources Manager Stacy L. Campbell.
The Resort Area/Sports Management advisory group consists of: Sue Morris Sports Complex Facilities Manager and Director Gary Musgrave, Clarksburg Country Club General Manager and PGA Club Professional Fred Swisher, Alderson-Broaddus College Head Womenâs Soccer Coach and Sports Information Director Patrick McGinnis, GSC Athletic Director Janet Bailey, and GSC Head Womenâs Basketball Coach Bernard âBunkyâ Harkleroad.
The American Humanics advisory group consists of: GSC Associate Registrar Brenda McCartney, GSC Director of Student Activities Kipp Colvin, West Virginia State Folk Festival Committee Member Buddy Griffin, local resident Julie Beckner, WVU Extension Office Gilmer County Extension Agent Jennifer Shirey, and Family Resource Network Executive Director Donna Waddell.
