GLENVILLE, WV – Students in Glenville State College’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization will be hosting a Disco Zumbathon in the Health and Physical Education Building Lilly Gymnasium. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The Disco Zumbathon is a fundraiser for the group that is open to members of the community as well as students, faculty, and staff. Tickets, which will be available at the door, are $15 for one and $20 for two. Glow bracelets and necklaces, as well as refreshments, will be provided.
Zumba is dancing and exercising at the same time - however, unlike regular Zumba classes, this event will also include disco lights, glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces, and a smoke machine. The event will be led by a certified Zumba instructor and promises to be fun for participants of all ages.
PBL is the college-level equivalent of the Future Business Leaders of America groups that are often found in high schools throughout the country. The organization is dedicated to inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders by preparing its members for careers in business and business-related fields.
