Dr. Tracy Pellett

GLENVILLE, WV - The inauguration date for Glenville State College’s twenty-fourth president, Dr. Tracy L. Pellett, has been set. Pellett will be officially installed as GSC’s newest leader at the ceremony which will take place on Friday, November 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the College’s Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The public is invited.

Everyone is invited to attend the inauguration ceremony and the inaugural dinner. The dinner will be held in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom and will immediately follow the ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $25.00 per person. Proceeds benefit the College’s Academic Success Center. Semi-formal attire is suggested. Special music will be provided during the dinner by the Glenville State College Bluegrass Band. The dinner menu includes your choice of entrée: a broiled salmon fillet with wild rice pilaf and steamed asparagus, grilled chicken breast with roasted rosemary potatoes and sautéed vegetables, or Portobello vegetable lasagna rolls with grilled polenta in addition to a shrimp cocktail appetizer, salad, and dessert. Members of the inaugural procession are reminded to arrive at the Fine Arts Center by 3:15 p.m. for robing.

Pellett began serving as Glenville State College’s President on July 1, 2017 and came to GSC from the College of Coastal Georgia where he was serving as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
