GLENVILLE, WV â Students in Glenville State Collegeâs criminal justice fraternity, Sigma Pi Xi, took part in Laser Shot, a tactical decision making scenario-based training program on Friday, March 10. The training was made possible by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
DNR Sergeant Duane Duffield provided individual hands-on training to students with the advanced law enforcement simulator. Participating students were presented with virtual âshoot/no shootâ scenarios where they had to assess the situation, verbalize, and take action. By taking part in this type of interactive training, the GSC Criminal Justice Department continues to be a pioneer in progressive and hands-on teaching methods.
