Glenville, WV—The Mountain State Brass Band will be performing at the Glenville State College Fine Arts Auditorium on Sunday, November 4th, at 7:00 p.m. The Mountain State Brass Band out of Charleston, West Virginia is made up over three dozen current and retired colleges and high school music educators as well as a few exceptional high school musicians. The performance will span a wide variety of music including classical, pop, and folk selections. “The Mountain State Brass Band will put on a fun and entertaining concert. The sound of a brass band is somewhat different than other orchestras, but it is a sound that most will really enjoy,” said GSC Fine Arts Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Music, Lloyd Bone.
