Plans are being made for an on-campus memorial service for two Glenville State College students who died in a vehicle
accident last week. The incident involving Brandi Kay Bowen from Salem and Kyle Hunter Puffenberger from Upper Tract took place on Friday on Route 33 in Barbour County. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, for both Brandi and Kyle in the GSC Presidents Auditorium located in the Harry B. Heflin Administration Building on campus.
Brandi was a sophomore, a member of the GSC track and cross country teams, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Kyle was a freshman and a member of the GSC Pioneer football team. GSC President Peter Barr said, âBoth students were very well liked by the athletic community and their peers and will surely be missed by the college community.â
