GLENVILLE, WV - The Glenville State College Land Resources Department will be the site of a presentation on the history, collapse, and revival of the American chestnut tree. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Thursday, October 8 at 12:15 p.m. in room 227-228 of the Waco Center.

Guest speaker at the event will be Matt Brinckman who is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Science Coordinator for the American Chestnut Foundation.

Light refreshments will be served at 11:30 a.m.
