Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Wise joined the Glenville State College faculty in 2011. Before then, she was the Dean of Arts and Humanities at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope while she continued her doctoral studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has held teaching certificates in Arkansas and North Carolina and has taught secondary education in both states. Dr. Wise serves as the English Education Content Specialist and as the Institutional Assessment Coordinator at Glenville State College; she is also the Director of the GSC Writing Center. Courses taught include Critical Reading & Writing I, Critical Reading & Writing II: Research Writing, Advanced Grammar and Writing, The English Language (Introduction to Linguistics), and English Education Methods.
