Glenville State to Host IOGA Classic
The Waco Center at Glenville State College will be the site of a boy’s and girl’s six-day high school basketball tournament this December. The Independent Oil & Gas Association (IOGA) Classic tournament is being hosted at GSC this year, Monday, December 12 through Saturday, December 17.
Annual Literary Magazine Open for Submissions
The Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary and arts journal, is open for submissions for the 2017 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Chi Beta Phi Members Participate in National Conference
On Saturday, October 1, 2016, eleven members of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Beta Phi and two other members of the Glenville State College community attended the 69th National Conference of Chi Beta Phi. The conference was hosted by the Zeta Chapter of the organization at the Eshelman Science Center on the Davis & Elkins College campus in Elkins, West Virginia.

Glenville State College's 2016 Homecoming Court Coronation took place at noon on Monday, October 17 in the campus amphitheater. Kellie Kinsinger and Brod Boswell were crowned queen and king.

Gary Kent, Director of Surveying at The Schneider Corporation will visit Glenville State College to give presentations on Wednesday, October 12 at 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Waco Center room 227/228.
Peace Corps Presentation at GSC
Jamie Salabogi, a regional recruiter for the Peace Corps will visit Glenville State College for a presentation on Thursday, October 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the Heflin Administration Building Presidents Auditorium.
